Cell service was practically non-existent. On Friday night, the noise was so loud as to negate any hope of sleep. The dessert table is usually the favorite stop for most diners. I overheard other diners complain of the same thing. I would have preferred a slice medium rare but there was none to be had. My only complaint was the rest of the prime rib was over cooked for my taste. My wife had the end cut which she enjoyed. In actuality the prawns were nothing more than small shrimp! Next came the prime rib, it was actually quite good, flavorful and tender. The last steam table was rather humorously named 'spicy chili prawns'. Next comes the Chinese buffet, 6 or 7 steam table selections of basic Chinese food. Let's start with the salad bar, a bowl of lettuce next to a selection of dressings. Here, the prime rib while tender and tasty is served as part of a Chinese buffet. But not at the Quinault Beach Resort Prime Time buffet. For me, a Prime Rib buffet conjures up images of juicy prime rib nestled next to mash potatoes and gravy, sautéed vegetables, and the rest. This is not your typical Prime Rib buffet and should be disclosed by the propietors.
